Dr. Marcos, a skilled artist and passionate advocate of all things healthcare, discovered a harmonious fusion of his two passions in the realm of dental medicine. By working in between his college classes as a dental assistant down the street from his alma mater, Florida Atlantic University, he cultivated a deep affection for dentistry. This led him to pursue his education at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with distinction among his fellow peers. During his time in dental school, Dr. Marcos cherished the impactful moments he encountered while serving in various dental clinics affiliated with the College. He fondly recalls his rotations through the Cypress Creek Dental Center and Kids In Distress Dental Clinic. Furthermore, Dr. Marcos volunteered his time in meaningful initiatives such as the Florida Dental Association’s Mission of Mercy in West Palm Beach, as well as South Florida’s “Give Kids a Smile” program. Through these endeavors, Dr. Marcos leveraged his ministry-inspired approach to offer comprehensive treatment and support to patients of diverse ages and socioeconomic backgrounds residing in underserved communities of South Florida. Dr. Marcos is a dedicated member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Marcos derives great joy from the part of his profession that allows him to establish a meaningful connection with each individual who seeks his care. He places utmost value on genuinely understanding and listening to the people who entrust their oral health to him. He firmly believes in dedicating additional time to attentively hear his patients’ thoughts, concerns, questions, and fears. Together with the entire dedicated team at Harris Dentistry, he is steadfast in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that not only delivers optimal oral care, but also nurtures a sense of belonging for everyone involved. To Dr. Marcos, every patient is part of the family. In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. Marcos derives immense satisfaction from his creative pursuits. He is an enthusiastic artist, channeling his hand skills into vibrant works of art. As a published author, he consistently immerses himself in writing and translating, dedicating his free time to ongoing literary projects. Beyond his creative endeavors, Dr. Marcos nurtures great love for reading. He also cherishes any moments spent in nature, appreciating the beauty of being outdoors in the Sunshine State.
